As a Lead Accountant, Katie plays a vital role in ensuring day-to-day transactions are entered correctly, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

She performs month-end closing journal entries and reconciliations, conducts cash flow forecasting, and meets with clients to review their financials while maintaining strict adherence to all deadlines. Her detail-oriented approach ensures financial accuracy and operational clarity for every client.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from UMass Dartmouth and brings a strong blend of financial expertise and operational leadership. She has extensive experience overseeing financial and accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance across multi-entity and international environments. Throughout her career, she has partnered closely with leadership teams to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and support accurate, timely financial insights. Known for her collaborative style, Katie helps organizations operate more efficiently while maintaining financial clarity and compliance. One of her proudest moments was graduating college after facing significant challenges, an immense sense of accomplishment that shaped her resilient approach to problem-solving.

What excites her most at work is managing client relationships while being part of a growing team built on collaboration, quality, and consistency. "I find it rewarding to help businesses expand and thrive by translating their financial data into actionable opportunities," Katie explains. Her goal is to turn complex financial information into strategic insights that empower clients to make confident business decisions.

Outside the office, Katie enjoys a wide range of hobbies from photography (especially black and white), hiking, camping, fishing, skydiving, and reading. She values spending time surrounded by her amazing friends and family. Friends and family describe her as energetic, accountable, and inquisitive. She possesses the unique hidden talent of making friends with every animal she meets, including those that are overwhelmingly shy and don't typically like meeting new people.
